DICKSON, Tenn. -- Did other officers play a role in the shooting death of a Dickson County sheriff's deputy?

That's the question that the Dickson County grand jury will face Wednesday.

A special prosecutor will present the findings of his re-investigation of the murder of deputy Keith Bellar.

Bellar was gunned down by a mentally disturbed man almost two years ago when he pulled up on the scene of an auto accident.

The shooter then turned the gun on himself.

But Deputy Bellar's widow, Brandi, later began to hear stories that the shooter may have been pushed over the edge as a result of bullying by other area officers.

Those claims were never investigated by local police, which prompted the appointment of the special prosecutor.

It's not known when the grand jury's conclusion will be released to the public.
