NewsChannel 5 has partnered with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to provide an easy way for residents across the mid-state to help those people effected by the December 23 severe storms and tornadoes.
Strong winds and tornadoes moved across the area Wednesday evening, killing two people in Perry County and causing thousands of dollars in damages.
Crews from the National Weather Service were expected to survey the damage Thursday to determine the exact number and severity of tornadoes.
Officials in Wayne County said several homes were damaged. The Lutts Post Office was destroyed.
