NewsChannel 5 wins News Excellence at Midsouth Regional Emmys

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — For the third consecutive year, NewsChannel 5 took home the award for News Excellence at the Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards.

The 33rd annual awards ceremony was held Saturday night in downtown Nashville.

NewsChannel 5 won top honors in the following categories:

  • Promo Spot/News Image: “On The Rise” – Jerry L. Walker, Richard Eller, Terrence Boyce
  • Editor/News: “I Hope There’s Not a Flash Frame in Here” – Catherine Steward Editing Composite
