NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Football fans came out in full force for the free NFL Draft Experience outside Nissan Stadium.

Leanne Fitzpatrick said, "Absolutely loving it, it's everything I hoped and dreamed it would be, and living up to my expectations, and I'm so pumped for tonight."

Fitzpatrick is from London and recently moved to the United States. She dressed up as a Bengals tiger, and she wasn't alone. Lots of fans dressed up to support their favorite team.

Nathan Kaly said, "A lot of this stuff was homemade. This is just leather, got some skin here, got this is foam from Amazon."

Locals walked around to check out the madness too.

Buffalo Faust said, "We're excited that the draft is here in our backyard which is very cool."

Students from Moore Elementary School took a field trip to partake in some flag football drills. Fans got to throw footballs into targets, some folks ran the 40-yard-dash like in the NFL combine, and others tried to kick field goals.

The event wasn't just fun and games, there were surprises too.

Tennessee Titan Derrick Henry surprised a Fort Campbell veteran with backstage passes to the draft and other goodies.

Henry said, "I hope to see him at games wearing 22 jerseys, I'm just happy to be here and be a part of this moment."

Henry thanked veteran Ralph Rodriguez for serving our country at the Fedex tent.

Rodriguez said, "Signed jerseys for the whole family which is awesome."

If you missed out on Thursday, the NFL draft experience will be open on Friday and Saturday too.

Faust said, "It's good, it's like a game day vibe."
