Nine arrested in Hendersonville shootout

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Hendersonville Police officers arrested nine people following an attempted robbery and shootout.

According to police, this began as a drug deal outside of a home on Saverly Drive. During the deal, one of the man tried to leave, leading to a gunfight between two groups of people.

One of the bullets entered a nearby home, but no one was injured.

Police say three of the people involved were minors -- their names and pictures were not released. Five others: Eugene Llapri, Demyre Law, Vincent Alteri, LaRobert Carpenter, and Jamie Wilke were arrested on charges of Reckless Endangerment, possession of a weapon during a felony, and aggravated assault. Wilkes and two of the minors also face charges of attempted aggravated robbery.
