CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nine cases of vandalism in Clarksville overnight between August 18 and 19 resulted in over $2,500 in damage.

All nine instances of vandalism were in close proximity to each other, Clarksville police said. In all but two of the cases, car windows were damaged with rocks or concrete. In the other two, home windows were damaged.

The roads where vandalism took place are Valley Road, Cedar Valler Road, McCan Drive, Nelson's Way, Caribou Drive, Meadow Circle and Prince Drive.

A couple of the victims said they heard the sound of an accelerating vehicle that had a particularly loud muffler. Surveillance footage from a residence in one of the areas shows a dark-colored sports car - possibly a Mustang - that may be the suspect's vehicle.

Clarksville police are asking those in any of the areas where windows were damaged to check their surveillance videos for footage of the suspects in the act or anything else that may help to identify the suspects. Anyone with information or surveillance footage can contact the detective on this case at (931) 648-0656, ext. 5447 or the Tipsline at (931) 645-8477.
