NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nissan Stadium was named 2018 Venue of the Year in Tennessee by Meeting Professionals International.
The organization connects more than 375 companies from across the state serving Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga.
“With all the improvements we have made to Nissan Stadium, we are always looking for ways to host unique events at our venue,’’ said Vice President of Facilities and Game Day Operations Bob Flynn. “I want to recognize our stadium staff and Levy Restaurants for their hard work which led to receiving this special recognition.”
Nissan Stadium put on 24 public events in 2018 including Ttans games and concerts. The stadium also hosted more than 425 private events on stadium property.
Officials say Nissan Stadium is well on its way to surpassing that total in 2019.
