Police have announced no charges will be filed in an alleged sexual assault at Brentwood Academy.
Brentwood police said in a release Wednesday morning that they have closed the investigation after several months.
“Following numerous interviews with students, school staff, and parents, the CPIT team concluded no criminal charges will be pursued,” authorities said.
They also determined there was no criminal wrongdoing on the part of Brentwood Academy staff.
Back in August, a family has sued the prestigious school, alleging it failed to act after the repeated rape and sexual assault of a 12-year-old student.
