Awards were given out to the non-profit organizations and volunteers that do so much for the Music City at the Mary Catherine Strobel Awards ceremony.
NewsChannel 5’s Rhori Johnston once again emceed the event at the Music City Center.
The event was organized by "Hands On Nashville." This year was the 30th year that area non-profits gathered to honor volunteers - both individuals and groups.
Awards were handed out in six categories. The nominees this year spanned all ages and backgrounds, but they share a common characteristic: a love of giving back and helping those in need.
