NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 17-year-old was injured in a shooting in North Nashville.
Metro Nashville Police officers were responded to a report of the victim laying in the intersection of 15th Avenue North and Buchanan Street Wednesday afternoon.
However, when officers arrived to the scene no one was there. A witness later told them that the victim may have been transported to the hospital by a black Nissan Titan.
The teen walked St. Thomas Midtown Hospital with a gunshot wound in his leg - it was not life-threatening.
The black Nissan Titan was located at the hospital. Detectives are investigating.
