Officer Injured In Brawl At Music City Central

An Metro Nashville Police Officer was sent to the hospital after being injured in a brawl at Music City Central.

A large fight broke out Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 at the bus station. According to police officials, officers tried to break up the fight but the teens fought back.

Police said Patricia Hill, 18, reportedly Central Precinct Officer Joshua Reece in the face and continued to struggle with him until she was taken into custody.

Officer Reece was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released for eye and knee injuries.  

Hill was one of more than 20 teenagers said to be involved in the brawl.

She was charged with assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct and was jailed in lieu of $4,500 bond.

Also arrested were 18-year-old Kevin Haynes and 24-year-old James Scales Jr. and five other juveniles. Both Haynes and Scales were charged with disorderly conduct.

The five juveniles - three males and two females, ages 15-17 - were arrested on disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and criminal trespassing charges.
