ELKTON, Ky. (WTVF) — Kentucky State Police officials responded to the scene of a shooting in which two law enforcement officers were involved.

KSP officials say an Elkton Police Chief Robert Toombs and Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy David Hutcheson pulled over a driver the the driver of a white pick up truck on East Main Street Tuesday around 4:30.

That's when police say the driver, who was later identified as 75-year-old Roy Tucker, got out his truck with a gun and started shooting at police.The officer and deputy shot back killing the man.
