MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Investigators have asked for help form the public to identify the teo suspects who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.
The robbery happened around 5 a.m. on May 27 at 2505 Blackman Road, just west of Highway 840.
Officials with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said a clerk was smoking outside the store when two men with handguns ordered her back into the store, where another clerk was working.
The suspects demanded the clerks open the cash register. After taking the money, both suspects fled the scene.
Surveillance video captured footage of the suspects. The first was about 6 feet 1 inch tall and had dreadlocks. Officials said he wore a mask and a white head wrapping during the robbery.
The second suspect was about 5 feet 4 inches tall and wore a grey-checkered wrap over his head.
