A Gainesboro man lost his life at Dale Hollow Reservoir.
The 53-year-old man was traveling on a jet ski with two other people on a separate jet ski on Wednesday.
They stopped at a dock for lunch and then went back out on the water. Officials said the man hit wake, was thrown from the personal water craft, and went under the water.
His companions couldn't find him. Investigators said the man was improperly using his life jacket. His body has yet to be recovered.
