One arrested for possession of drugs and firearms in Lebanon

LEBANON, Tenn. (WTVF) — One man has been arrested after police executed search warrants for two residences in Lebanon on Thursday, December 20.

Lebanon Wilson County Task Force with the assistance of the Lebanon SWAT team searched two homes, one of the 200 block of Burdock Street and another on the 800 block of Dahalia Drive. An investigation had been ongoing after police had been tipped off about some illegal activity that may be taking place in the houses.

Steven Searcy, who was the target of the investigation was located and apprehended at the home on Burdock Street that police believe was being used to sell cocaine and other illegal narcotics.

In total, police recovered multiple firearms and ammunition, along with cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia from both locations.

This investigation is ongoing and detectives will be presenting this case to the Wilson County Grand Jury for future prosecution.
