MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — A person has been hospitalized after a fire at an apartment complex in Murfreesboro.
The fire happened Friday evening at The Belle Aire Apartment Complex on Sloan Street.
Officials say when they arrived they found a fire in one of the apartments.
While the fire was quickly extinguished, the apartment had fire, smoke and water damage. Three other apartments also had smoke damage.
A resident was treated for smoke inhalation and taken to the hospital.
The Fire Marshals Office was called to the scene to investigate.
