Police were called to an area J.C. Napier Homes in Nashville after an early-morning shooting.
Metro Nashville Police officers said a man was shot in the stomach around 3:50 a.m. Wednesday and was found injured by a Good Samaritan on Claiborne Street.

That person then called police.
Investigators said the victim was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center with serious injuries. They said he's not cooperating and won't tell them the exact location of the shooting.
No additional details were known.
