A man walked to a nearby market after getting shot just south of downtown Nashville.
Hermitage police officers said the victim was shot around 1 a.m. Tuesday at the corner of Claiborne Street and LaFayette Street, located in the Tony Sudekum and J.C. Napier Public Housing Complex.
Investigators said after he was shot, he walked at least two blocks to a nearby market where he flagged down police.
He was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said he's not being cooperative.
