NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police said one man was killed and another injured during a shooting in East Nashville on Sunday night.
Officers are still investigating what happened during the shooting. A witness told police she and her boyfriend arrived outside of her apartment on Dew Street near S. Seventh Street around 9:15 p.m. Her boyfriend then walked to a car with at least two people inside when shots were fired and her boyfriend was hit. She drove him to the hospital and his condition is not known.
A short distance from the scene, police said 20-year-old Jevon Wilson was found with a gunshot wound, but he died shortly after arriving at a hospital. It is not yet known if he was pushed out of a car.
