ALMAVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person was killed in a crash on I-840 in Almaville.
According to Tennessee Highway Patrol officials, the westbound lanes of Almaville Road were closed Friday evening while they investigated.
THP's incident report stated 50-year-old Robert Wayne Guiher of Smyrna was traveling east on I-840 when his vehicle crossed the median and into the westbound lanes.
His Dodge Ram 1500 hit a rock wall, causing the vehicle to roll multiple times. Guiher was ejected from the vehicle as it came to a final rest on the right shoulder of the road facing westbound.
