One killed, two others injured in Ashland City crash

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash on Ed Harris Road Ashland City.

The driver, 18-year-old Ricky King, was traveling west on Ed Harris Road in a Jetta when he crashed.

The car traveled off the left side of the road while navigating a curve, slid down an embankment and hit a tree.

King was injured in the crash along with 19-year-old James Hastings Jr. However, passenger, 27-year-old David Mooningham was ejected from the car and died in the crash.

The report states Mooningham and Hastings were not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
