A couple miles of 12th Avenue South will be closed for Open Streets Nashville festival.
Sunday's free event aims to activate people, strengthen businesses and inspire public spaces by closing the street to cars.
In total, 2.3 miles of 12th Avenue South will be blocked to drivers from around noon to about 6 p.m. The street connects the Gulch, Edgehill and 12th South neighborhoods.
The event will kick off at 1:30 p.m. with a parade and continue until 6 p.m. with dozens of free events ranging from yoga, barre, and zumba.
