Opryland looking to hire more than 200 seasonal workers ahead of Christmas

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Gaylord Opryland Resort announced it is hiring more than 200 seasonal positions in preparation for its 38th annual A Country Christmas celebration.

A series of virtual job fairs will be conducted on October 1, October 7 and October 14 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Anyone interested in registering to attend or applying online can do so here.

The seasonal positions, which start at $11.50 an hour, include retail or special event attendants and tour guides. Job perks include numerous discounts on attraction tickets and hotel rooms.

“Gaylord Opryland Resort is a fun place to work, but with more than 3 million lights, acres of over-the-top decorations and festive entertainment, the holidays are extra special as we can offer seasonal positions,” Gaylord Opryland VP and Market General Manager John Adams said in a press release.

A Country Christmas opens on Nov. 13, 2020, and runs through Jan. 3, 2021.
