DICKSON, Tenn. (WTVF) — An overturned semi-truck blocked I-840 in Dickson County at mile marker 3 Saturday morning, shutting down the west side of the interstate.
Dickson County Fire and Rescue responded to the incident, which happened just after 6 a.m.
Crews there found the semi-truck on its side with one person still inside. Reciprocating saws were used to remove the person from the crashed tractor trailer. One person was transported via LifeFlight.
Westbound traffic is being diverted to alternate routes. At the time of writing, the scene is estimated to be cleared around 9 a.m.
