SMYRNA, Tenn. (WTVF) — An overturned tractor trailer in Smyrna has caused the closure of a portion of Jefferson Pike.
The crash was first reported just after 5 a.m. on Jefferson Pike near Hickory Grove Road.
A portion of Jefferson Pike is closed while the Smyrna fire and police departments work to clear the crash. While they do so, there is no access to Jefferson Pike from Smyrna, and all traffic from Murfreesboro is being diverted to Interstate 840.
As of this writing, the current estimated clear time on the overturned trailer is 9 a.m., though that could change.
No injuries were reported in this crash.
