Papa John's Employee Injured In Nashville Shooting

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department responded to a shooting that injured a Papa John's employee.

The shooting happened around 7:45 p.m. Friday at the Phillips 66 on Thompson Lane, not far from a Papa John's restaurant.

Reports stated an altercation broke out between the employee and a man and woman. 

The man allegedly fired shots into the victim's vehicle, causing him to suffer a gunshot wound.

The Papa John's employee, whose injuries were reported to be non-life threatening, was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Detectives said the investigation remained ongoing.
