NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Part of lower Broadway has closed to vehicle traffic to allow more space for social distancing.
Broadway will remain closed to traffic from 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday from Fourth to Fifth Avenue. However, cross streets will remain open to vehicles.
The Broadway street closure is in full effect.

On Thursday, the city received approval from the Tennessee Department of Transportation to move forward with the plan.
The weekend closures will continue at least through the end of the month.
