A passenger involved in a deputy-involved crash on Highway 76 in Montgomery county has died from her injuries.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m. Sunday on near the Interstate 24 westbound exit and on ramps.
Maxwell C. Jones, 76, was riding in the car that that failed to yield when turning left at a green light hitting a Montgomery Co. patrol car.
Jones was riding in the Toyota Camry driven by 77-year-old Annie J. Jones. In the patrol car was 27-year-old Deputy Justin V. Slate.
Annie Jones was charged with due care.
No further details were released as the investigation remained ongoing.
