Pedestrian critically hurt in Clarksville crash

A 64-year-old man was critically injured Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle in Clarksville. 

The incident happened at 7:30 p.m. on Fort Campbell Boulevard. 

Police said he was walking from the Oak Haven Hotel when he was hit by a Ford pickup truck being driven by a 46-year-old man. 

The victim was wearing a black hat, black coat and blue jeans at the time of the crash. 

He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries. He underwent surgery on Sunday and is in critical but stable condition.

Police said no charges have been filed in the case.
