Pedestrian hit, killed by train near Nesbitt Lane Crossing early Friday morning

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A pedestrian was hit and killed by a train early Friday morning in Nashville.

CSX said a train came into contact with a person at 1:13 a.m. near the Nesbitt Lane Crossing.

Police are investigating the situation as a suicide. Due to the nature of the death, no further information will be published.
