Police have identified the man who was struck and killed in south Nashville.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday at Old Hickory Boulevard and Hickory Plaza Drive.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said 63-year-old Dismace Murego, who was dressed in all black, was crossing the street when a vehicle hit him in the roadway.
The driver, 59-year-old Wanda Johannsen, said Murego walked in front of her car and she was unable to avoid the collision.
Murego was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police said there was no indication of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene. No charges were expected.
