CENTERVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A deadly crash involving a pedestrian has blocked the right lane of Interstate 40 East in Hickman County.
The incident happened shortly before 5 a.m. Monday at mile marker 156. The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed one person was struck and killed.
The circumstances surrounding the crash were unknown.
The right lane of I-40 eastbound is expected to remain closed until at least 10 a.m. The investigation remains ongoing.
