Pedestrian killed in Dickerson Pike hit-and-run crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The victim in a deadly hit-and-run crash Friday night has been identified. Metro Nashville police officers are searching for the driver responsible.

Officials say Kimah Meriweather, 26, was walking with his brother south on Dickerson Pike when the passenger side of a car traveling south struck Meriweather around 9:15 p.m. Meriweather died at the scene of the crash.

The suspect's vehicle is suspected to a be gray 2007-2009 Toyota Corolla. The vehicle is has damage to the front passenger side, including a missing mirror.
