A pedestrian is in the hospital with serious injuries after a hit and run crash in Old Hickory.
Officers were called to the scene on Old Hickory Boulevard around midnight Friday morning.
They say the driver that hit the man took off after the crash.
A few good Samaritans in the area followed the car and called police.
Officers were able to track the vehicle and take the driver in custody.
