A pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injures after being hit by a truck in Nashville.
Officials said the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. on Gallatin Pike near Duling Avenue when a pickup truck driving northbound hit the pedestrian.
The victim was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center with life threatening injuries. Officials said he was not in the crosswalk when he was hit.
The Metro Nashville Police Department Traffic Crash Unit was investigating and said the driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with officials.
