NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three dozen students were sent to the school nurse after pepper spray was released at Donelson Middle School.
School officials say a total of 36 students were checked out by the nurse Wednesday. Some reported coughing or difficulty breathing but none of them were seriously injured.
Their parents were notified of the incident. Officials did not give any details on how or why the pepper spray was released.
