NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Pepperfire Hot Chicken is closing its East Nashville location and moving to a larger storefront in Marathon Village.
The new location will open in early March at 1400 Jo Johnston Avenue.
"We’re very excited to get the new storefront up and running," says Isaac Beard, owner of Pepperfire. "This location gives us the room we’ve needed for a while, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our customers. We can’t wait to get back to making y’all all the hot chicken, peppercheeses and southern sides you can dream of."
Pepperfire first opened in East Nashville in 2010, and later moved to a larger space on Gallatin Avenue in 2015. The Gallatin Avenue location will close on December 17.
The company is planning various pop-up dinners with other community partners before the grand opening of its new location.
