NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was hit by a train Saturday night in Nashville near 1st Avenue and Stockyard Street.
According to Metro Police CSX called police when their train hit something on the tracks.
The man hit is in his 50s, and the collision partially amputated his foot. While the foot injury appeared to be serious, he did not receive any life threatening injuries. He was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
