The minds behind Franklin's Pilgrimage Music and Cultural Festival released an app that will help fans prep for the music filled weekend.
The festival will bring major bands to Middle Tennessee for its second year in a row, but this is the first year for the app, which lets users plan out their experience before arriving, so that they don't miss any of their favorite acts.
The 2016 music schedule was also released Thursday, with headliners Hall and Oates, and Beck, and Nashville artists such as Jason Isbell, Kacey Musgraves, and Brothers Osborne.
Better Than Ezra's Kevin Griffin is one of the founders of the festival. He said that in their second year, they've worked out some kinks and they're ready to provide an experience unlike any other.
"It is a saturated festival market, but you're going to hear, see, taste, and smell things that you've never experienced before when you come to Pilgrimage," said Griffin.
Tickets were still on sale for the event which takes place at Harlinsdale Farm on the 24 and 25.
