NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Plans to renovate a vacant office building on Union Street into a hotel are moving forward.

The former Metropolitan Federal building at 333 Union Street will become a 10-story Radisson RED hotel. Plans were approved by the Metropolitan Development and Housing Authority this week.

The plans include expanding the current four-story building into a 10-story hotel with 116 guest rooms, rooftop amenities and a basement speakeasy-style bar.
