NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police said officers seized 2.7 pounds of marijuana along with guns and cash from a convenience store in Madison.
After receiving a tip of illegal drug sales at the Grand Slam Market on E. Old Hickory Boulevard, Metro officers executed a search warrant on Wednesday and seized the marijuana, two handguns and $3,389 in cash from the store.
A 23-year-old employee, Neil Mistry, was arrested and charged with felony marijuana possession and gun possession during the commission of a felon. He has since been released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
