NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police officers arrested an 18-year-old a second time days after being released on bond.

Police officials say they arrested Jalem Buford Saturday for auto theft and released him on a $3,000 bond.

However, officers arrested him again Tuesday after officers chased him driving a stolen pickup truck. Police say he jumped several fences before officers caught up with him and took him into custody in a back yard near 45th Avenue North and Georgia Avenue.

Inside the stolen pickup truck were two shotguns taken during a vehicle burglary Monday on Brentwood Meadows Circle.

Buford was charged with vehicle theft, felony evading arrest, vehicle burglary, and gun theft. Buford's bond was set at $85,000.
