HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A person went on a date with someone they met on a dating app, only to be robbed.
Hendersonville Police officials say 22-year-old Keanthony Lopez met up with the victim on the 100 block of Hunters Trail in Hendersonville. But that's when police say he robbed the victim of his phone and wallet at gunpoint.
Lopez was arrested Monday and charged with aggravated robbery.
The victim's wallet and phone were later recovered. Police also found the gun that was used, which turned out to not be real.
