Police ask for assistance locating motorcyclists whose actions led to deadly crash on I-24

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) is seeking assistance from the public in locating vehicles and drivers who may have been involved in an incident that led to a fatal crash on I-24.

The incident occurred in the late evening on March 23 at mile marker 24 on I-24 in Robertson County.

According to THP, two cars were driving side-by-side when two motorcyclists approached one of the vehicles and began harassing the driver. The vehicle in the right lane then crossed into the left, striking the vehicle next to it.

The driver who was being harassed tried to regain control of their vehicle but was unable to and ran off the road, striking a tree. The driver later died of their injuries.

The motorcyclists reportedly continued East on the interstate.
