NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police detectives asked for the public's help in identifying a man found dead last week in a wooded area of South Nashville near the Metro Soccer Complex on Donelson Pike.

Police officials said in a press release the man's body, which was found by people playing soccer, showed no visible signs of trauma. But his cause of death has not been determined.

Police said he appeared to be in his 30s and of Middle Eastern descent. He had dark brown hair, a full beard, and was wearing a white t-shirt with green shorts and had no shoes on.

Anyone with information about the man or his identity was asked to call the Department of Emergency Communications at 615-862-8600.
