HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Deputies discovered the remains of a woman inside a car in Humphrey's County Sunday morning.
Sheriff Chris Davis says the woman is believed to be Melanie Vineyard, a woman who has been missing from Dickson for nearly two weeks.
The car was parked in the parking lot near Pebble Isle Marina.
The medical examiner has been called to the scene. Police are still investigating.
Vineyard was reported missing after she left her home on the morning of July 2.
