NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 16-year-old at Stratford High School was charged after having a loaded gun at school.
Metro Nashville Police officials said a tip from another student led officers to the gun.
Officers began looking for the teen, who then ran out the back door of the school carrying a backpack. He was taken into custody near the school and inside the backpack was the loaded .38 caliber revolver.
He was booked at the Juvenile Detention Center.
