Police: Church burglar caught in the act in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police caught a man trying to burglarize a church in Hendersonville.

An employee of the church, which is located near Center Point Road, told police the church's security cameras had captured someone inside going in to the building.

Hendersonville officers found19-year-old Carlos Hernandez Antioch inside the church building. They arrested and charged him with Burglary. He was booked into the Sumner County Jail and was later released on $3,000 bond.

Hernandez is scheduled to appear in Sumner County General Sessions Court on July 22 at 9 a.m.
