BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A suspect in Warren County has been accused of driving under the influence and attempting to run over sheriff's officials in an effort to escape.
Officials with the Warren County Sheriff's Office said 43-year-old Charleton Young has been charged with three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree, driving under the influence, resisting arrest and several other traffic offenses.
Investigators said officials were responding to a call involving an intoxicated driver when the suspect allegedly attempted to hit the deputies with his car.
According to investigators, a taser was used in order to restrain the suspect.
He has been booked into the Warren County Jail.
