NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man was shot and killed in Nashville Friday night on Murfreesboro Pike. Metro police (MNPD) are requesting information in the case.
MNPD says two officers were on Millwood Drive on an unrelated matter when they heard two gunshots around 8 p.m. When they investigated the shots, they found 37-year-old Abdullahi Hashi lying on the sidewalk.
Hashi was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died.
Hashi's van was found parked behind a business on Murfreesboro Pike.
